Between 1 and 12 April 2019, the Mediaş Town Hall organizes at the Municipal Library St. L. Roth Mediaş a thematic book exhibition The Ugly Duckling, celebrating the work of the Danish children’s book author, Hans Christian Andersen.
Throughout his life, Andersen was celebrated by the royal family and acclaimed for bringing joy to children across the European continent. Over time, his fairy tales have been translated into over a hundred languages and continue to be published in millions of copies all over the world.
