This year Mediaș Town Hall together with the Military Unit 01810 Mediaș will mark again the Romanian Army Day, a holiday dedicated to an emblematic institution of the Romanian State, whose sacrifices and deeds of arms are linked to many landmarks of our modern and contemporary history.

Although the significance of the Romanian Army Day recalls the battles of autumn 1944 in Carei and Satu Mare for the liberation of the last corner of Romanian land under foreign occupation, in time, this holiday has become an evocation of the battles fought by Romanian soldiers throughout our history, an occasion on which the Romanian nation celebrates its Army and the soldiers who were and are in its service.

We invite you to participate with us on Sunday, October 25, 2020, from 13:00 in the Heroes Cemetery in Mediaș, in the military and religious ceremonies on the occasion of the celebration of the Romanian Army Day and to honor, through our presence, those of us who have the noble mission to defend the unity, freedom and integrity of the Romanian state.
Given the existing epidemiological context, we ask participants to comply with the rules and restrictions set by the organizers for this event, in order to limit the spread of coronavirus.
