Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019, Mediaş Town Hall celebrates the International Children’s Book Day at St. L. Roth Municipal Library Mediaş.

This day has been celebrated since 1967, 2nd April being the birthday of the one who continues to be one of the most beloved children’s fairy-tale writers, Hans Christian Andersen. The Danish writer, born in Odessa in 1805, delighted generations of children with stories such as The Emperor’s Clothes, The Little Match Girl, The Ugly Duckling, The Little Mermaid. Second grade students of Cireşarii Mediaş School, led by Rotar Elena and Neagoe Crinela, will attend this event to present their favorite book from 10:00 A.M.
